| As all great events or just simple things, fashion shows have their advantages and disadvantages also. There are people that do not agree the idea of a fashion show. They say this kind of presentation leads easily to promiscuity, as all the fashion shows bring up lingerie for women or men. Therefore, the models on the stage are half-naked. This is the opinion of religious persons. On the other hand, there are other categories of persons that think fashion shows have a bad impact on the average people. It is about the nutritionists and doctors. They do not agree with the skinny models on the stage, as they become real models for young girls and boys. These ones do their best to look like the models they see on catwalk. Teenagers come to end up starving and having many health problems, like bulimia. Psychologists say that teenage girls lose their self-confidence, as they cannot reach to the ideal dimensions of their bodies, as they try always to compare themselves with the models on the catwalk. There were also many campaigns talking about giving up promoting skinny bodies on the fashions shows, as they bring damage to many girls. There were cases when persons died by starving themselves. In my opinion, it all depends on the everyone’s strong or weak personality and character. It is all about the perception of the ideas about fashion. The concept of fashion is a very interesting feminine concept, if you were to ask me about. Its part in our lives is to keep up close to become as sensual as we can be and to keep us in touch with the latest trends in what we should wear or not. Apart from this, fashion shows are a real welcome sight for sore eyes. |
