For most printers, this procedure works the best.
First you have to put the C.D. provided with the printer in the cd drive. Once that is done, you should connect the printer to the pc. After that, Windows will detect a hardware(printer) and will give a choice whether to search for the driver online or let it search from the cd drive and install it. You should click on the latter option. Here, windows will search for the required driver and install it. Voila, your printer is ready to use. |
